“ Second time here. That alone says a lot for me cus I'm super critical of Mexican food cus I've lived in Mexico and Southern California. Address for review is 1441 E Fletcher Ave #111 Tampa, FL 33612 They have two other locations I went to the Gunn location thinking they moved since my last visit in June but it's an error. Their website which I ordered from the first time had the correct address. I reported to yelp and management. I have been craving their rolled tacos aka flautas since my first visit as they are the best I have ever had in my 40 years. Meat is balanced to tortilla, toppings are generous and complete! The correct cheese avocado pico and lettuce romaine not the cheap iceberg. Someone else in the reviews mentioned the hot salsa and I thought it was a one off like maybe it was hot from the other food but NO. Its temperature was very hot like soup. Now this is the first in my life having it this way and I wasn't turned off. Hear me out, it added warmth to my food. Melting the cheese and keeping my dish warm. It was a real pleasure eating it this way. I dislike how cold salsa makes my food cold. So it's a win. Living in hot Florida makes hot salsa less refreshing however. I love spice and it's not spicy enough for me but that is good for everyone else lol. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada and it was perfect! Honestly I was impressed with how much shrimp was on there! I'm used to more veggies ( onion tomato cilantro jalapeños cucumber) but I realize how people want meat as their measurement of value. This place is delicious and the kids loved the real quesadillas they make here cus most places don't make them right. Here it's what they ask for. Today I'm taking home the birria ramen two Shrimp ceviche tostadas and a steak burrito. Come have some real Mexican food ”

“ Absolutely scrumptious and top tier. Counter service style restaurant, very quick with the staff bringing it out to you. They also gave us chips and salsa like a sit-down restaurant despite being counter service which was great. The food was so so good that even though I was stuffed I kept eating until it was all gone. I got the quesabirria and burrito bowl with birria protein and they were both so so good. Very filling and flavorful. Price is decent too ($12.99 for the quesabirria, $9.99 for the burrito bowl with an extra $1.99 upcharge for the birria) The birria is so tender and the flavors all come together so well. I'm definitely coming back here ”

“ Hands down my favorite place. And they are around the corner from where I live. Perfect. The last few times I got Asada Nachos. So good. They put just the right amount of Steak on the nachos. The cheese sauce is good as well. My son loves the Asada Tacos. He gets 5 along with Black Beans and Rice. Yes he's a big boy and he loves it all. The Birria tacos are amazing as well. The consome consistency is perfect with the right amount of seasoning. Crazy thing about my last few pics is I did not take any pics. The food is that good. ”

“ I know there is a couple locations around Tampa, and they are worth trying! The Gunn location is very convenient and it's so good, I always come here to get my ceviches tostada and my Jamaica agua fresca I just love it so much here. The place is small but it always looks clean and everything seems brand new. I don't give them the 5 stars because they need to work a little bit on their service, they forgot some stuff we ordered, and they need a little bit more organization, but other than that they are overall very good. ”

“ YUM! I had a great experience at this taco spot. I ordered three tacos (steak, pulled pork, al pastor) and the guava juice. All three tacos were STACKED with meat and had delicious flavor. My favorite was the pastor. This location is unique because they have an open concept kitchen where you can actually see the food getting made. It's bright inside and clean. Would definitely go back. ”

“ There are a few of these located through out Tampa. Happy they've made an actual restaurant location as opposed to the little location on Linebaugh and Anderson. It's a pretty large restaurant too! Plenty of space to dine-in with friends/family. You can obviously order take out, but if you're dining in, they make it convenient for you to order using QR codes specific to the table number. Order/Pay on your phone via the QR code and they bring the food right out to your table. Super conveniently, especially if it's your first time there, you're not pressured to hurry up using their IPAD or via the person at the cashier counter. Large variety of food, your typical tacos, Birria, nachos, burritos, etc. I got the flautas (you get 6) and nachos w/ Queso. The flautas were REALLY good, but I definitely recommend dining in to eat them as they get soggy pretty quickly. I do like the "open kitchen" concept, they have a clear glass so you can see them prepping/cooking your food which is cool! The place is really clean too!! Will definitely be back to try more stuff! ”
